Poetic Confusion

Her love was like gold in deep rocks,
Her love was an addiction not to be rehabilitated,
Her love was like an obsession not to be cured,
Her love was like solid rocks hard to be broken,
Her love was like thunder that strikes once in a while,
Her love was like the rainbow that shows peace and love,
Her love was like the full moon rarely seen and found,
Her love was all that was needed every morning and every evening,
Her love was that ” Hey, how was your day”?
Her love was like the sun that shines during the rain,
Her love was the purest thing she ever felt,
Her love was the realest feeling she ever felt,
Her love was the only thing she thought would last forever,
Well nothing is forever,
But God is.

Her love haunts her every late night and early mornings,
Her love provokes her to have sleepless nights and worrying days,
Her love makes her eyes sore and her nose running,
Her love makes her hair messy and lipstick messed,
Her love runs in her head without breaks,
Her love makes her heart skip a beat after every 30 seconds,
Her love, the only thing she possessed for a long duration.

Roisin is devastated,
Her love is gone,
Never to be taken back,
But to be kept close,
Her big heart torn into a million pieces,
But time will recollect them,
Mend them,
And perfect them into a beautiful thing,
Never seen in the world before.
No broken heart,
No crying eyes,
No sleepless nights,
No worrying days,
No panic attacks,
The music that sings in her heart is different,
The beat of her heart has changed,
The rhythm of her life is transformed,
Life has to continue,
Whether you’re doing good or bad,
Because everything happens for a reason.

Love and respect.

Regards, Sharon Madonna.
